Blinds. Not Our Future

This category is all about curtains. Curtains are a part of what we do. We upcycle curtains and turn them into custom made, quality, lined, heat traps for families that need them

We acknowledge that curtains don't always have a commonplace in every home. So we're opening this up to cover more than curtains and it includes things like draft stoppers and double glazing. Basically, anything that shows how you keep the warmth in and the cold out.

Here are some ideas to get you started....

Straight Outta Compost

So for Straight Outta Compost, we want to see your greatest compost and gardening conquests in action!

Here's some food for thought...

Where the Wilderkids Are

You've probably read the book or seen the movie - Where the Wild Things Are - but have you heard of Where the Wilderkids Are? Our guess is maybe not.

Where the Wilderkids is based on our outdoor, adventure-based school holiday programme for kids aged 5 to 12. Wilderkids are experts of the forest, flora and fauna of Matairangi (Mount Victoria).

We want to see pictures of the curious minds in your household exploring nature...

Heaters gonna heat

We are a social enterprise that supports Wellingtonians create warm, healthy energy efficient homes. We do this by insulating peoples homes and also providing expert advice on heating.

We know that heating and insulation aren't the most photogenic items in the world, so we're expanding Heaters gonna heat to include all the ways you plan to keep warm this winter.

Here are some ideas to get you warmed up....
