Toast Electric was founded by Sustainability Trust in 2022 as an electricity retailer servicing homes and small businesses. Instead of profits going to shareholders like a regular power company, 100% of the profits that Toast makes are used to reduce the electricity costs and provide wraparound support for households in energy hardship.

We believe essential resources like electricity should be provided by local organisations, so your money stays in your own community and supports local initiatives in social equity and climate change—instead of being sent to large privately-owned organisations or overseas.
