Central Heating - Ducted Heat Pump

A ducted heat pump is a system that uses air ducts in your roof space or underfloor to discreetly deliver heating or cooling to multiple rooms at the same time.

Like many other organisations in the trades industry we have been inundated with demand, so much so that our own tradespeople are not able to attend every job. To combat large wait times we sometimes engage with third party contractors who have been handpicked by our team and meet our standards for quality and sustainable practices.

  • Ducted heat pumps are an increasingly popular choice amongst homeowners for complete, highly efficient indoor climate control.

Using the same inverter technology that made singular heat pumps popular, ducted systems give the option of even greater control, across your home.

With discreet ceiling or underfloor vents, these systems can be installed with minimal visual disruption. Just like a heat pump, ducted systems heat, cool and dehumidify. They can also be installed with zone control, wifi control and optional touchscreen panels.

  • The ducted heat pump systems are the ultimate choice when you want to heat your whole home without visible air conditioning units attached to your walls or sitting on the floor.

The systems can keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

They will help you to keep your home healthy, reduce your ongoing energy costs and limit your environmental impact.

And they are high efficiency/low running cost compared to traditional heating methods

  • Ducted heat pumps use the same inverter technology that traditional heat pumps use, meaning considerably lower running costs for energy input.

The supplied air is distributed balanced and evenly throughout the home, where it makes its way back to a central return grille, generally in a hall or service area.

From here the air is returned to the system, filtered and topped up with additional heat (or less if cooling) before being redistributed through the home. Optional fresh air intakes can be added to systems.

  • A heat pump can memorise the settings for mode, airflow, temperature etc. and automatically returns to them when power is restored after a power failure. The human sensor control detects the movement of people to deliver optimum efficiency and temperature control.

The group control allows several indoor units to be controlled as a group from one wired remote control, a great option for businesses.

A timer can be pre-set to start and stop at any time within a 24 hour period; and also allows you to program your heat pump to turn on or off at set times 7 days a week. With a night set mode, you can prevent sudden temperature changes during the night and improve economy.

By using the weekly timer function the operation can be set up to match your daily schedule. It’s a ‘set and forget way to keep the temperature of your home comfortable all year round. And with the temperature limit operations, you can pre-define the temperature range for cooling or heating, to reduce your energy consumption.

The Home leave function is ideal for cold climates, when activated, Home leave turns your heat pump on automatically when room temperatures drop below 10°C, keeping your home at or above 10°C so it never gets really cold.

The ducted heat pumps can also provide: night quiet modes, programmes dry modes, intelligent defrost systems, hot starts, quick cool/heat powerful modes, anti-corrosion coating, self-diagnostics with digital display and numerous other options.
