We partner with Regional Public Health to help households achieve warm, dry, healthy homes.
If you have a child under 14 living with you and your home is making your sick, we might be able to help.
If you are a health professional or a community worker looking to refer your client directly, please contact the
Well Homes Hub at Regional Public Health.
If you rent or own a cold, damp home in Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua or Kāpiti, we want to help.

Our two free in-home services – Well Homes & Warm Fuzzies -offer a range of support and advice.
We also assess curtains, heating and insulation
We want to help our families achieve a warm, dry home that is safe, with enough space for the whole household.
Our free in-home visit offers useful tips and advice to stay warm, healthy and to save power. We also assess the physical house, discuss health and social support, and check options for housing transfers.
We may be able to provide items directly - such as curtains, heaters and bedding – if funding allows. We engage landlords around heating, insulation and other upgrades and – for homeowners - we’ll check eligibility for large discounts off heating and insulation.
