Lower Hutt family warm up with insulation

Samantha McAllister's family were eligible for insulation subsidies which meant they could warm up their Lower Hutt home for cheaper. 

They appeared on Campbell Live and told us later how much difference it had made. 

"Since the insulation was put in, we haven’t had the heater on as much. We notice the heaters with thermostats don't click on as much and the house is generally warmer and so much more comfortable to live in.

"The kids don't wake up cold or coughing and Corben's asthma has settled down.

"It has saved us so much money, which has also saved us more hassles as we were not sure where we would get the money from or how we would pay it back.

"So thank you to all those involved, from the people in the office to those who carried out the work. It's made a huge difference to us and we are really grateful for it all."
