Wilderkids

Who are they? What do they do? What makes them so special? What separates Wilderkids from other school holiday programmes?

First things first, who are the Wilderkids?

Wilderkids are a group of outdoor exploration extraordinary. They are between the ages of 5 to 12 and love spending their school holidays learning all about the bees, flowers, trees, and of course, the creepy-crawlies that live throughout Matairangi (Mount Victoria).

With an adventure-based agenda, a team of enthusiastic educators from the Sustainability Trust, and a lunchbox full of snacks Wilderkids spend their school holidays becoming masters of Wellington's wild-yet-wonderful town belt.

Wilderkids believe in caring about the environment, connecting with others, and feeding their curiosity.
