Tool donation

We are a central drop-off point for power, hand and gardening tools. 

Give your tools a second life. We'll accept any kind of electrical or hand tool whatever the condition for free. We'll triage tools donated and find the best home for them:  

  • reuse as a resource for our RepairEd programme  

  • reuse by donating to Newtown Tool Library 

  • resell at 2 Forresters Lane, via TradeMe or The Tip Shop 

If the tool isn't in good enough condition for reuse, we'll recycle it through metal or e-waste recycling so valuable materials can be recovered.

✔️ wood working tools like saws and handplanes  

✔️ general tools line hammers and screwdrivers 

✔️ power tools like drills and lawn mowers  

✔️ sewing machines and overlockers  

✔️ electronics tools like soldering irons 

✔️ bike tools
