Reuse & recycling
All recycling and reuse services are delivered through Te Aro Zero Waste which has different opening hours to the Sustainability Trust office.
Te Aro Zero Waste is open Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, 2 Forresters Lane, Te Aro.
When closed, Te Aro Zero Waste have collection containers outside for metal and plastic lids, alongside non-lid plastic #2 and #5.

Tip Shop collection days
The Tip Shop regularly has collection days at Te Aro Zero Waste - see our events . The Tip Shop team collect any big, bulky, awkward and other forgotten reusable items. They take furniture, building and gardening materials, books, and bric-a-brac.

E-Waste recycling
Drop off your e-waste to Te Aro Zero Waste, 2 Forresters Lane, open Wed to Sat, 10 to 4. The centres takes everything from TVs, stereos, heaters, phones, cellphones, batteries, small appliances.
Battery recycling
Drop off your batteries to Te Aro Zero Waste, 2 Forresters Lane, open Wed to Sat, 10 to 4. The centres takes domestic and commercial regular batteries, as well as laptop and power tool batteries.
