Our Wellington Curtain Bank up-cycles pre-loved curtains and gives them to low-income families in the Wellington Region.
Because we up-cycle curtains for homes, we need to be pretty fussy about what we accept.
We take:
Good quality, mould-free pre-loved curtains
Fabric rolls or large offcuts of fabric
Tracks and hooks
Rolls of white/cream or grey, poplin/polyester/cotton or calico
We don’t take:
Dirty, sun-damaged or mouldy curtains
Curtain rods or brackets
Blinds or netting
