Red Nose Reindeer Eco Christmas Market

Our annual eco-Christmas market is back and better than ever!

Every year, we go foraging and we find an eclectic mix of artisanal crafts and creations, and this year is no different.

That said, check out the fine line-up at this years Christmas Market.

  • We've got a masseuse! Why? Because it's been a long year and we want to take the stress out of Christmas shopping. Also, Bridie Munro is a Manual Movement Therapy specialist who is all about deepening the connection between body and mind (and that's a vibe we like the sound of).

  • Because we live in hope of sunnier days and warmer weather, we've invited Natalie from Seasick Sunscreen Co. Nat has developed a natural sunscreen that does not contain ingredients that are toxic to fish and other marine life. Come have a chat with her about her journey.

  • Just in case you missed them at our mid-winter market, we thought we'd invite the fun printed Thunderpants family. Honestly, honestly, their organic fair-trade cotton underpants will change your life.

  • We've also bought back our besties from Wa Collective. It has been a huge year for the Queens of period pun. From TEDx talks to award-winning communications, we're excited to talk shop and hear their next steps in the war against period poverty.

And what would a home-grown artisanal market be without an awesome collection of 100% natural body and beauty care products??

  • Welcome back to Marcela and co from Underground Soapery who make beautifully handcrafted, environmentally friendly, plastic-free, skin, hair and beauty products. They look so good you'd want to eat them.. but you shouldn't because they're soap.

  • Then we have the crew from No 8 Essentials. Wellington-based, 100% natural quality personal care products wrapped up in fully compostable or recyclable packaging. Say no to sticky fingers and stinky armpits because their deodorants will change the game.

  • Last but not least, we have Felicity Joy the natural-born forager of Homegrown Botanica. If nature makes it, Felicity finds it and then turns it into organic skin remedies and tea blends. If you have any questions about foraging, she's your go-to.

On the gifts for other people, front dream team Aran and Meave of The Furnace fame will be at our market with their stunning spectacular hydrographic art maps. Words can not describe how stunning these beautiful sustainable artworks are, so you're better off seeing them for your self.

If you're looking for handmade jewellery; earrings, studs, rings, necklaces and small handpieces of home decorations that capture cultures and landscapes, come and check out Emy from Eclo Art's stall.

Perhaps you're in the market for a new scent? Make sure you send hubby over to check out the gorgeous perfume solids by Pacific Perfumes. These beautifully handcrafted award-winning creations will leave you smelling like you've been on holiday in the South Pacific (minus the Co2 emissions).

We've also invited the team from Trade Aid Wellington. Trade Aid is one of the original socially responsible businesses out there building a better world. They source handmade, fair trade products from more than 65 trading partner organisations across the globe.

And last up, can we get a round of applause for Larissa from Empriss. Empriss is a collection of unique toys made right made out of accessories, clothing and textiles destined for the landfill.

The will be music, fun, face painting, food, coffee and great gifts for the whole family. So come on down and let's make a good day of it!
