And we’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of commercial leadership and meaningful impact to join us as our: Head of Commercial & Operations – Sustainable Homes

This is your chance to contribute to a values-driven organisation while bringing strong commercial thinking to a business unit that directly improves people’s lives. You’ll shape and expand our Sustainable Homes offering, lead a high-performing team, strengthen the customer experience, and ensure our services run smoothly from assessment to installation.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll head up our Sustainable Homes division with overall responsibility for its success

  • Shaping, evolving, and expanding our Sustainable Homes services—turning ideas into real-world impact

  • Leading and developing our Assessor Team and Trade & Operations Manager

  • Owning the full sales pipeline from assessment to installation, keeping it smooth, customer-focused, and commercially strong

  • Maintaining strong relationships with EECA, councils, key partners and developing new business relationships

  • Keeping revenue and installation targets on track through great planning and clear reporting

  • Contributing as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team

What you’ll bring

  • A background in business development, sales, commercial leadership, and operational management

  • Strong people leadership skills and experience building capability in teams

  • A track record of delivering growth, improving services, and managing revenue

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Cultural competency and openness to working with people from cultures other than your own including knowledge of—or a willingness to learn about—Te Ao Māori

  • A passion for sustainability—or a strong desire to learn

  • Motivation, ambition, resilience, and the ability to keep things moving in a busy environment
