The funding criteria for the goverment's Warm up New Zealand: Healthy Homes programme has got much wider, which means more people can get funding to help pay for insulation.
50% funding is available for rentals and owner-occupied homes of people on low-middle incomes.
Eligibility criteria summary
The new criteria opens up the funding to people that do not have a Community Services Card, but are still classed as low-middle income because their income level is up to $20,000 above the most relevant Community Services Card threshold, and someone in the home has a respiratory health issue e.g. asthma.

There is some paperwork to complete to get funding, which our team of Home Energy Assessors and Customer Services staff can help with.
The funding runs out in June 2018, so we urge people to apply now to avoid missing out.
