Switched On: Repair Workshop #1

Sustainability Trust and MakeRoom are running sessions to empower all of us to get more life out of our electrical goods.

We love repairing things, it’s a great way to reduce the amount of waste we require and produce.  By repairing when we can, we’re saving money and the planet at the same time. It’s one of the easiest ways you can take action on climate change. Plus, it’s a great way to upskill.

In this first session we’ll be covering consumer rights, skills and tools for repair, how to research a repair and identify when it is time to get professional help.

Click the link to check out the second session - we’ll be covering maintenance, common household repairs and what we can all do to advocate for our right to repair.

Each workshop is stand alone, but feel free to come along to both!
