Michael is Vice President at Green Project Management Global and works with organizations around the world to achieve net zero carbon emissions, achieve leading practice in sustainability and minimize impacts or projects on society and the environment

Michael has worked with ISO, Standards Australia, and the International Project Management Association has been instrumental in developing project management standards and qualifications around the world.

Michael holds numerous ministerial appointed Board roles and was until recently Deputy Chair of the Australian Institute of Project Management.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science, a Graduate Diploma of Portfolio Management, and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Chartered Project Professional, a Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional, and a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Project Management, Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael has won over 30 national and international business awards, and was recently invited to the United Nations Global Business Leader Forum at the UN Headquarters in New York to speak with business leaders from around the world on how to create a sustainable future.

Michael’s work has been featured in BRW, Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and the Canberra Times. His recent book with Joel Carboni on sustainable project management is an amazon best seller.

This workshop has been collaboratively organised by Sustainability Trust, Project Management Institute, NZ Chapter and their Climate Change and Sustainability Action Group.
