Update on COVID-19: Monday, 24 January

By now you would have heard that at 11.59 on Sunday, 23 January all of Aotearoa, New Zealand will ‘Operate at Red’.

Because we opted into the vaccine pass system, at the red traffic light setting we can continue to operate our business as usual. Read on for more detail and to find out how we’re maintaining the safety of customers and staff.

Sustainability Trust staff vaccination rules.

We have a highly vaccinated team here at Sustainability Trust.  Some roles within the Trust have been mandated by acts or government agencies including educators and all those going into people's homes.  All staff have been strongly encouraged and supported to get vaccinated and we will be using the soon to be released vaccination assessment tool to decide what other roles will require vaccination.

What RED means for us – the specifics.

  • EcoShop: Vaccine passes must be shown on entry and masks must be worn for everyone over 12. Please remain physically distanced whilst shopping in the EcoShop. Don’t forget to sign in with the COVID tracer app or the manual sign-in on arrival.

  • All home assessments install of heat pumpscentral heatinginsulation and ventilation. We’re still booking assessments and installs for all our healthy home services. Our assessors will maintain a safe distance and wear the appropriate PPE on all jobs.

  • Your Sustainable Schools National. These workshops are designed for teachers and educators which means they will be delivered in person, as normal. We will update participants on any changes if needed.

  • Sustainable Enterprise Solutions. Our consultants are available and ready to help you achieve your sustainable workplace needs.  If you do not wish to disclose the vaccination status of your workplace, please let us know so we can make sure we have the right protocols in place to keep our staff safe.

  • Wilderkids School Holiday Programme - It is with great sadness that we will not be going ahead with Wilderkids in the Term 1 holidays. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

  • Events - we’ve got some pretty cool events on the horizon. We require a current ‘My Vaccine Pass’ for anyone over 12 years old.
