Small Metal Recycling

In addition to our metal lids recycling programme, we now accept other small to medium-sized metal items for recycling.

Bring your unwanted metal (aluminium, copper + other metals) items to us, we sort them out and then send them away to McAuley Metals to be recycled. Easy-peasy. This is a FREE service for anyone who wants to do the right thing.

What you can recycle through this programme

As long as the item is no bigger than a reusable bag, you can drop it off to us. This includes any of the following:

  • Metal drink bottles

  • Metal tools

  • Nuts and bolts

  • Metal pots, pans, saucepans and other metal cookware (yes, even Teflon coated ones)

  • Metal cutlery and blunt knives

  • Keys

  • Copper piping

  • Blunt scissors

  • Wire clothes hangers

  • Razor blades

Best practice for recycling

Safety first - please wrap sharp bits up in an old cloth or newspaper.

If it has a plug, it will be processed as e-waste. Fees apply to this service - you can learn more about it here.
