Sustainability Trust is Wellington’s drop-off point for electronic waste and recycling.

Open for drop-off Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm.

Sustainability Trust provides Wellington Central’s only drop-off point for electronic waste recycling. Our partners, RCN in Seaview, responsibly dismantle this waste and direct it to specialist recyclers in New Zealand and accredited offshore facilities.

    Consultations

    Our Insulation and Heating team has installed Energywise compliant insulation in 5750 homes and low emission heating in 850 homes since 2004. Code compliant insulation and clean heating are fundamental for warm, dry and healthy homes.
    Wellington Curtain Bank has provided 454 homes with 1349 pairs and 35 single curtains since opening in mid 2010. Public donations of fabric are tailored, lined and individually fitted for low income homes with inadequate or no curtains.
    Advice Centre Wellington has provided 2903 free phone consultation and 172 home assessments. This figure does not include the 64 workshops and presentations delivered.
