Fruit Tree Guardians

We support a network of gardeners who take care of fruit trees in community spaces.

The Fruit Tree Guardian volunteer programme gets communities working together to bring healthy fruit trees to local neighborhoods.

Over the last five years, Fruit Tree Guardians have planted almost 500 fruit trees in communities around Wellington. WOW!

These fruit trees are everywhere, they could even be in your neighbourhood. Check out Wellington City Council’s Fruit Tree Guardian map to see if there is one near you.
