Wilderkids - School Holiday Programme

The delivery of the Wilderkids school holiday programme wrapped up in March 2024

For the last seven years we have been running Wilderkids School Holiday Programme to help our tamariki develop increased curiosity, connection, care and respect for each other and the environment.

Wilderkids is much loved by us and our community and since 2017 has seen over 10,000 children participate.

We’re proud of what we have achieved in connecting your kids with te taiao and will miss the seasonal interactions we have with our Wilder-families. This decision has been made so that we can focus on our zero waste and fair energy community programmes and collaborative initiatives; we will still be providing lots of opportunities for our tamariki to learn about climate action and sustainability.

We are doing all that we can to find a willing provider to take over the delivery of Wilderkids and we’ll post any updates on our website and to our current mailing list. A huge thank you for the opportunity to grow with your child/ren and for your generous and unwavering support of Wilderkids over the years.
